Jared Goff

Jared Thomas Goff is the starting quarterback of the Los Angeles Rams. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams with the first overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft. He played college football at California, where he was the first true freshman quarterback in California history to start a season opener. In 2015, he led the Golden Bears to a 7-5 regular season record, clinching Cal’s first winning season since 2011. He was selected First-Team All-PAC 12 in 2015. Goff is from Novato, California and is the son of Jerry and Nancy Goff. His father is a former MLB player who played for the Expos, Pirates, and Astros. His father was also a Cal athlet, playing as an all-conference and all-district catcher for the school’s baseball team. In 2016, Goff appeared on an episode of Gridiron Outdoors, which is hosted by former football quarterback Mike Pawlawski. He grew up as a San Francisco 49ers fan, and wears number 16 as a fan of Joe Montana, who played for the 49ers. Goff is also a spokesperson for Rockin’ Refuel.
